Seems having a problem going to bed at night has it’s interesting results too. Whenever I try to close my eyes and blank out to await my trip into sleepland, something always pop up (ranging from forgotten tasks to some fantasy plot). Well, the first isn’t that interesting so I will talk about the latter here.

Okay, I get ideas for stories when I go to bed… It’s weird I know, but most of the time it’s entertaining (for me). It’s like a mini theater in my head and I imagine characters and scenarios happening, this act usually exhaust me a lot (i think) and I go into dreamland with no problem.

In the mornings, if I remember any from the previous night’s ideas, I try to write it out, there’s one from a few nights ago (Yes, on that night this blog went down):

Just found out that blogsome is back up! :D Woot!

One more thing, I switched from Zoundry Raven to Windows Live Writer, just in case you have no idea what the above mentioned are, they are simply programs that help a blogger post and manage their blog.

As for reasons why I jumped ship, was mainly because I don’t think I will see more updates for Zoundry Raven as their project updates kinda stopped for a long time ago, don’t get me wrong by all means it is not a bad blog editor. So I am trying out WLW for the time being.

Well, during the last few hours I was trying to figuring out if my other blog came online, and trying to come out with a script that could determined the availability of the site, no such luck at that T-T.

I came across a website that can tell if the site you entered is up. Though I would share it here:

 http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Quite a useful tool if you don’t want to bug your friends and ask if it’s just your connection or the site is really down.

Well, my blog at blogsome: http://leafboi.blogsome.com has been down for a few days now. The guys (or girls) there has reassured that no data will be lost. But I can’t stop my self from writing posts when it’s down…

Can you believe it? Just as I wanted to write a post then I realized it all came crashing down, talk about timing :D.

Anyway, just to make sure I have a blog to post to, I’m gonna make http://leafboi.blogspot.com my mirror blog. All post starting from this one will be mirrored here.

One more time I found out during this downtime, seems that my favorite domain name provider http://www.co.cc has revised a term in their conditions, which means domain name: http://leafboi.co.cc is gone (They required customers to pay after their free 1 year). But not to fear, I have found another free one and created: http://leafboi.tk which will redirect you guys to my current active blog.

That’s all for now.

The problem with free filesharing websites is that sometimes it’s hard to get what you want due to the limits they set.

Not to mention what I saw on forums when I was trying to overcome the persisent problem on megaupload (I couldn’t d/l due to dynamic IP), here is a simplified version of it:

Instructions/tools for those who are unable to download from MegaUpload!

<blah blah some ego boosting stuff saying poster is brilliant>
I complied different ways and tools which I included here <- Note! it’s hosted on the MegaUpload site as well O_o|l

And you know what!? The person who put this probably wasn’t thinking striaght. Dude, We have problem downloading from the site!!! Or else we won’t need this solution/tool! It’s like telling the guy that got locked out of his car, you got other spare key that is in his car…

Oh well enough of my rambling, I found a site that allows you to skip all the problematic stuff and straight to the download, it works for MegaUpload,RapidShare and even MegaVideo.

It’s called rapid8 I just tried it out a moment ago… It’s working :D

Enjoy it while it last ;)

Static.

My MP3 player came back to life as the train reached the terminal, after skipping due to the bad reception, I had lost interest in listening to the news, figuring that it would be better to have some tunes as I walked home, I kept the ear piece in place. My mind wandered briefly as I performed the usual actions to get out of the train station, this was like any other usual Thursday night.

Empty.

That word sprang to my mind as I walked pass the deserted bus-stop outside the station. The moon was full tonight, yet I couldn’t see any stars. Somehow, the surroundings void of people and vehicles had seems to be a whole different world, another dimension. This reminded me alot of the protagonist in Kara no Kyoukai, that wanders the streets at midnight. Perhaps it was the voidness/emptiness that was so beautiful that it overwhelms a person, this sight is something you couldn’t see in the day time. Thus, generating an alien but yet familiar feel.

Strolling at midnight wasn’t so bad after all…

Went to the library to look for tips on writing, and was surprised when I stopped by the writing section that I used to visit so very often.

A few bare shelves greeted me. Wow, didn’t know it was the ‘in’ thing to be writing stories this season. Still managed to find a book or two to browse through, mostly taking mental notes about how to develop characters for stories, didn’t held my attention for long tho.

Just as I was aimlessly walking by different shelves, a book caught my attention: Hero-Type. It was about a teen whose act of heroism led him to become famous, with a twist which I wouldn’t want to spoil for those who wishes to read it. The one thing I like about the book was the super short chapters, plus the characters that was very entertaining. Before I knew it, I finished the book in one sitting (1+ hour).

Continued from post: A snippet of the story of what you call daily life

Haha… Started out really good in the morning. Well, until I wrote a few more lines:

I wasn’t sure for how long I was knocked out by that punch, but it sure felt like an awful long time.

I opened my eyes. Not sure of where I was, I blinked.

It was too dark to see anything.

A dream? Am I still in the activity room?

As I try to get up, I felt something on my left arm. Something soft, and warm, unable to see in this light I did what a normal person would do - I moved my right hand onto the ‘thing’ that was on my arm.

Hmm…? This feels like…

As if right on cue, moonlight crept through a nearby window to lit up my surroundings. I was lying on a bed in a wooden furnished room. Right next to the window, I could see the blown out candle on the table, along with a bronze bowl of water with a towel hanging by the side.

Kinda hard to put what I see in my mind into words. I need more practice =D
