Well, during the last few hours I was trying to figuring out if my other blog came online, and trying to come out with a script that could determined the availability of the site, no such luck at that T-T.

I came across a website that can tell if the site you entered is up. Though I would share it here:

 http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Quite a useful tool if you don’t want to bug your friends and ask if it’s just your connection or the site is really down.

The problem with free filesharing websites is that sometimes it’s hard to get what you want due to the limits they set.

Not to mention what I saw on forums when I was trying to overcome the persisent problem on megaupload (I couldn’t d/l due to dynamic IP), here is a simplified version of it:

Instructions/tools for those who are unable to download from MegaUpload!

<blah blah some ego boosting stuff saying poster is brilliant>
I complied different ways and tools which I included here <- Note! it’s hosted on the MegaUpload site as well O_o|l

And you know what!? The person who put this probably wasn’t thinking striaght. Dude, We have problem downloading from the site!!! Or else we won’t need this solution/tool! It’s like telling the guy that got locked out of his car, you got other spare key that is in his car…

Oh well enough of my rambling, I found a site that allows you to skip all the problematic stuff and straight to the download, it works for MegaUpload,RapidShare and even MegaVideo.

It’s called rapid8 I just tried it out a moment ago… It’s working :D

Enjoy it while it last ;)

I had originally wanted to make a big grandiose post about this. As usual, nothing is coming into my mind (Not really, a lot things is going on in my mind but it’s not about blogging).

This post had another purpose too. I am moving away from FireFox and is using Google Chrome instead, as to the reason for the move was probably I wanted a change.

My old blog editor was a plug-in (Scribefire) on FireFox, and I did not want to open Firefox just for blogging… Went googling for a new independent blog editor, and stumbled upon Zoundry Raven. (FYI: I am writing this post from there right now). If things goes well, this might be my blog editor until a better alternative pops up.

Oh! And a belated Happy New Year too. XD

Hmm… I signed up for this scribefire quickads…

But somehow i’m unable to get it to work the right way…

Just trying to see if there is anything on the bottom…

Oh well… If you can’t see the ad… Then listening to me play Kumikyokus NicoNico Douga
isn’t so bad too…

Just discovered that you are able to play more then just .flv files with PSPtube.

The best thing is, it plays unconverted full sized (.avi, .mpg) files too. It might play more formats, but i was only able to test out a few formats at the moment.

What about MKV files?

Well… It was very choppy and the sound didn’t come out as well. I suggest you people stick to .avi files instead.

Anydraw back besides not being able to play MKV files?

You will not be able to rewind the video, forwarding speed is only at x2 at the moment.

Yay! Successfully ported over 2 visual novels to my PSP. Hurray for ONScripter for PSP!

What is a visual novel?

Visual novel (ビジュアルノベル, bijuaru noberu)

A visual novel is an interactive fiction game featuring mostly static graphics, usually with anime-style art. As the name might suggest, they resemble mixed-media novels or tableau vivant stage plays.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here’s some pictures of them on my PSP screen:

Found this interesting thing on the net

By entering this javascript below in the browser’s url bar will make the current website you are viewing editable, don’t worry! It’s only client site so you aren’t really making any changes to the real website.

javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
Enjoy!

Yup this is a temporary email inbox that will self destruct in 10 minutes.

10 Minute Mail

Why have such a thing in the first place?

Because there are sites that stubbornly need you to register to before you can view anything, well registering may not be such a big hoo-ha, your mailbox might get spammed with different adverts telling you how to be great in bed to alien is in your backyard? LOL

I found this sitting in my mailbox:

A paypal scam, a phisher created a exact duplicate of the paypal’s website, so when you log in at that site the login ID and Password will be sent to the phisher.

To think i almost fell for it, until I remembered my paypal email was another address.
